At the Westlock Community Council Meeting on Feb. 28, 2007 people talked about the following business:

Old Business

Housing: Patty Jason will contact Mayor Bruce Lennon to see how he can get involved in the housing project.

AISH: Bonnie will have an AISH worker come to a fall meeting.

AACL Conference: Kyle and his family will be attending the conference.

New Business

The frequency of meetings was discussed and it was decided to hold meetings every second month.

Pizza or food will be served every four months, snacks at all other meetings.

Affordable housing is being looked at. There will be a meeting in Elk Point March 2, 2007 at the Senior Centre. All input would be appreciated.

Community Updates

WJS: Jason joined WJS after a month and a half on his own.

The bowling tournament is March 31, 2007.

Friends First: The next meeting will be after the April 4 Community Council Meeting. Bonnie has agreed to stay so that the board room in her office can be used.

Good News

• Jason will wear a dress to the next meeting.
• Kyle will be playing floor hockey in Barrhead.

Next Meeting

The next meeting will be April 4, 2007 at 5:30 pm at Bonnie’s Office. This will be a snacks only meeting.
