At the Bonnyville Community Council Meeting on Sept. 24, 2007 people talked about the following business:

PDD Conference Update

Lionel reported that the fund raising total to date was $4,200 and still growing.

Marlene said that traditionally the staff has selected the nominees for the Awards. This year Community Council was asked to send a recommendation for Service of Merit awards to Marlene.

Affordable Housing Update

Material delivery delays have delayed the date for people to move in. All the residents have been selected and are waiting to move in, by mid October. The project is short of funds but Lionel said they are pushing government for more resources and he is confident they will get the money.

Northeast Alberta Community Board Members

Katheryn Wiebe and Ed Rondeau were introduced to the Council. There were four new members added this summer.
