At the Athabasca Community Council Meeting on May 8, 2007 people talked about the following business:

Budget Approval

The budget worksheet for 2007/08 was approved.

Self Advocacy for Wellness

This will be held at Portage College at Lac la Biche on June 20, 21 and 22. Delegates were selected by PDD.

Alberta Association for Community Living Conference

Kathleen B talked about the conference. She attended 3 workshops with her daughter. She said the workshops talked about relationships between staff and individuals and how each is valuable and has something to give to the community. She also said how much she appreciated the support she got so that she could attend the conference.

Presentation Committee

Maxine will come in September and speak about AISH.
